Just before midnight, in an apartment parking garage, the unthinkable happens. A Yamaha R6 is taken from its parking spot. Was it taken ten miles away? Thirty miles away? One hundred miles away? If you guessed zero miles, then you are correct!

Thanks to the quick reactions of the owner, as well as location data provided by the Find It Now GPS Theft Recovery Center, the owner notified the security staff and the parking garage was put on lockdown before the bike could leave. Police arrived and after checking security camera footage, they saw two thieves load the Yamaha into a Suburban. After the thieves saw the garage get locked down, they had driven to the basement where they parked the Suburban and left it behind as they vacated the parking garage on foot. Luckily for us, one of the thieves dropped their wallet after exiting the vehicle. The Yamaha was recovered with no damage and the thieves have a nice cell waiting for them.
