Calhoun brings extensive powersports industry experience in high-level sales management, business development and distribution management. With almost 28 years of experience in both OEM and aftermarket positions, Calhoun brings a wealth of knowledge and dealer relationships to the company. Calhoun will be located at Helmet House headquarters in Calabasas Hills, CA.

“We are very excited to welcome Tim to Helmet House. With Tim’s broad experience in powersports sales and distribution he will be a valued member of our management team in overseeing and maximizing the performance of our sales force and in the servicing of our stocking dealers,” said Bob Miller, president and co-founder of Helmet House. “Tim’s unique set of skills across sales management, team development and distribution operations provide us with a continued passion for success as well as an entrepreneurial spirit,” added Miller.

“The opportunity to join a top-level firm like Helmet House was exactly what I was seeking from the next chapter of my career. I love this industry immensely, and the opportunity to bring my background and be involved with Helmet House and its leading brands has raised my passion for powersports to new levels,” said Calhoun.

Also announced was the promotion of long-time Helmet House executive Michael Gandy to Operations Manager; adding to his role overseeing regional sales management to Helmet House’s Southeast sales region. Gandy’s roles in operations, IT, quality control and distribution systems give the company continued strength in these areas.

“Mike has done a great job in providing excellence to our daily operations in addition to his full-time sales management responsibility toward our Southeastern dealers. His continued contributions in these areas made this promotion an easy decision and we look forward to continued contributions from Mike,” added Miller.

“In my 24 years with Helmet House, I’ve managed customer service, general operations, and inside and outside sales teams. I am proud to be associated with a great group of people here at Helmet House. Whether working with the warehouse, customer service, products, purchasing, IT, or accounts receivable staffs, we all work to support our valued dealers and sales force,” said Gandy.
