Sena Bluetooth Partners With HJC Helmets To Create Integrated Bluetooth Communication Device

Sena Technologies, Inc., in partnership with HJC Helmets, launched H-Talk at EICMA. H-Talk is a Bluetooth stereo headset and intercom integrated into the check pad of the RPHA Max Evo Helmet. The device will be available through HJC's dealer network beginning February 2014.

Sena Technologies, Inc. has announced its partnership with HJC Helmets to create H-Talk, a Bluetooth communication system integrated into the cheek pad of the RPHA Max Evo Helmet with additional helmet model integrations to come. H-Talk, a Bluetooth stereo headset and intercom, was launched at the 71st International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA), in Milan, Italy.

The H-Talk maintains a sleek helmet appearance as the unit is integrated into the cheek pad. The H-Talk is easy-to-use and provides all the features and performance capabilities of Sena’s current products, including the ability to make hands-free mobile phone calls, listen to stereo music or voice instructions from GPS navigations by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with other riders or passengers. The H-Talk integration into HJC Helmets will be available through HJC and their dealer network beginning February 2014.

“Sena is always looking for ways to provide riders with innovative products that will keep them connected while on the road, “said Tae Kim, president and CEO of Sena Technologies, Inc. “Partnering with HJC Helmets to develop the H-Talk will allow both companies to continue meeting our customer’s demands and satisfy the need for both reliable and innovative technology.”

“HJC chose to partner with Sena because we wanted to provide our customers with more options and functionality with their helmets. Integrating an intercom function with Sena’s technology will provide another element of innovation to our helmets,” said Seok Jung Hong, vice president of HJC Helmets. “Sena’s combination of brand loyalty and positive reputation makes them the perfect partner for HJC, and the continued growth of a positive brand image for HJC.”

The H-Talk for HJC Helmets will be integrated into additional HJC helmets next year. The communication device is also developed to be compatible with all of Sena’s Bluetooth products including the recently announced Bluetooth Action Camera.
