The new 2022 BMW K 1600 GT, GTL, B and Grand America

Six-cylinder in-line engines have been in integral part of BMW’s motorcycle line-up since the introduction of the original K 1600.

BMW Motorrad USA announced the new 2022 BMW K 1600 models: the K 1600 GT, K 1600 GTL, K 1600 B and K 1600 Grand America.

MSRP pricing begins at $22,545 for the K 1600 B, $23,895 for the K 1600 GT, $26,895 for the K 1600 GTL and $27,745 for the K 1600 Grand America. Pricing does not include $645 destination.

Six-cylinder in-line engines have been in integral part of BMW’s motorcycle line-up since the introduction of the original K 1600 in 2010. The BMW K 1600 represents the ultimate interpretation of high-performance, luxurious touring and cruising. The K 1600 GT represents the agile, dynamic variant of the six-cylinder lineup, while the K 1600 GTL with its more comfortable ergonomics and standard top case focuses more on longer distance riding.

The K 1600 B provides low-slung “streamliner” bagger styling accompanied by its motto, “The Spirit of the Open Road”. It represents elegance, power and luxury on two wheels to allow the rider to experience every road, every tour and every moment. Derived from the K 1600 B, the K 1600 Grand America combines the superior performance of the six-cylinder in-line engine with exclusive equipment features that make long-distance rides an experience that is as comfortable as it is exhilarating, for both rider and passenger.
