Zero Motorcycles Confirms Second Year at AIMExpo

Following a successful first year involvement, the American International Motorcycle Expo and Zero Motorcycles, a leading manufacturer of electric motorcycles, has announced that the pioneering OEM will return for its second year of exhibiting this October 15-18 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.

Highlighting the product lineup from Zero will be its high-performance Zero SR motorcycle. The company’s marquee model boasts the longest battery range of any production electric motorcycle and also has performance capabilities that exceed many of its gas-powered counterparts. For the first time the Zero SR model, as well as the entire lineup of Zero Motorcycles, will be available for demo rides at AIMExpo Outdoors!

“AIMExpo played a huge role in getting us off to a great start in 2015,” said Scot Harden, VP Global Marketing at Zero Motorcycles. “In just two short years, AIMExpo has become a major player on motorcycling’s global event calendar and clearly established itself as the most important show to attend in North America.

Complementing the Zero SR will be the complete lineup of on- and off-road models, including both consumer and fleet spec machines. In recent years, Zero has achieved considerable success with its fleet program, designed specifically for first responders like local police and fire departments, national parks and the military. Additionally, the company will host a special event for its growing dealer network.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame recently named Marilyn Stemp and Steve Piehl to its board of directors.

Stemp is a pioneering figure in the motorcycle industry, founding IronWorks Magazine with her late husband, Dennis, and becoming the first female editor of a nationally circulated, mainstream motorcycle magazine. She also revived their trade magazine, Iron Trader News; edits the monthly Kiwi Indian News; contributes to several powersports media outlets; and is the founding editor of Sturgis Rider Daily. Stemp is a noted editor and writer of several motorcycle-focused books. Her consistent support for charitable efforts in the industry include the annual Biker Belles Celebration, Las Vegas BikeFest and as campaign chair for the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum’s development plan in 2014. She co-founded the Flying Piston charity events taking place in Daytona and Sturgis each year and is a National Ambassador for All Kids Bike. Stemp was inducted into both the Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Sturgis Museum's Hall of Fame in 2018, and in 2022 she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Powersports by DealerNews.
