Yamaha Motor Corp. is expanding its family of off-road utility and sport ATVs, providing superior capability, comfort and confidence in a wide variety of terrain and situations for off-road enthusiasts.

For 2019, the Grizzly family welcomes an all-new Special Edition Grizzly featuring exclusive 27-inch Maxxis ‘Zilla tires and Yamaha’s award-winning engine tuned for dynamic recreational riding on the most demanding trails. Yamaha’s more utility-based ATVs include the Kodiak 700 and Kodiak 450, while Yamaha’s sport ATV lineup again features the Raptor 700R and YFZ450R, along with respective youth models, the Raptor 90 and YFZ50.

2019 Special Edition Grizzly
The new 2019 Grizzly combines smooth, responsive and quick-revving power with increased mid-range and improved acceleration from a new six percent gear reduction. Producing less noise and vibration, the Grizzly still delivers an even sportier riding experience than ever, thanks in part to the enhancements in Yamaha’s all-time best-selling fuel-injected 700-class, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.

The SE Grizzly features a new, aggressive look, painted bodywork and new 14-inch two-tone cast aluminum wheels for increased ground clearance, and a wider track width. New models get a new dash with a redesigned meter, a pre-installed two-inch tow receiver, Yamaha’s Ultramatic automatic transmission, On-Command 2WD/4WD system and Electric Power Steering (EPS).

With cast aluminum wheels, the new 2019 Grizzly is available in Ridge Red and Alpine White (MSRP $9,899), an all-new Realtree Edge camo pattern (MSRP $10,299) and an SE Backcountry Blue (MSRP $10,499).

2019 YFZ450R
The YFZ450R is the most technologically advanced sport ATV in the market, combining a high-tech, quick-revving, titanium-valve 449cc fuel-injected engine with a lightweight, professional-caliber cast aluminum / steel chassis.

MX-ready, the YFZ’s no-weld frame is designed from lightweight aluminum with a tension-steel bottom frame, allowing low engine placement for optimal mass centralization. Suspension components and settings reduce weight while providing agile, performance-pointed handling and rider comfort.

The YFZ450R’s bodywork is designed for ideal ergonomics and rider comfort with a T-shaped seat and maximum knee room permitting riders to easily move around the machine and attack corners to the finish line. An assist-and-slipper clutch reduces clutch lever effort for less fatigue, while simultaneously increasing clutch plate pressure for positive engagement. This clutch system also reduces engine-braking effect, which allows for faster cornering, particularly when downshifting.

The YFZ450R is available in a Team Yamaha Blue with color matched seat, A-arms and frame (MSRP $8,999). YFZ450R SE with a GYTR front grab bar receives two new SE color options, red or Armor Gray (MSRP $9,399).

2019 Kodiak 700
The Kodiak 700 is built for both work and play providing a comfortable, confidence-inspiring ride. Powered by Yamaha’s legendary 700-class single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, the 2019 Kodiak 700 is built with more than 1,300 pounds of towing capacity, 110-pound front rack capacity and 198-pound rear rack capacity for a work-ready design and capability.

Styling, smooth power and low-end torque creates the foundation for adding a range of tech features, like Yamaha’s Ultramatic fully automatic transmission, On-Command four-wheel drive system and EPS (select models).

The new 2019 Kodiak 700 is available in Green, Red (MSRP $6,999) and Fall Beige with Realtree Edge (MSRP $7,299). Kodiak 700 models equipped with EPS include green (MSRP $8,599), Armor Grey with aluminum wheels (MSRP $8,799), Realtree Edge with aluminum wheels (MSRP $9,199) and an SE Backcountry Blue with painted bodywork and aluminum wheels (MSRP $9,299).

2019 Kodiak 450
The 2019 Kodiak 450 combines Yamaha’s legendary durability and reliability with class-leading handling. Powered by a 421-cc fuel-injected engine for Proven Off-Road performance, it features a compact-chassis mid-size ATV customers will appreciate, along with a roomy riding position to comfortably accommodate even larger riders.

Features on the Kodiak 450 include Ultramatic automatic transmission, On-Command 2WD/4WD system, EPS, adjustable dual A-arm suspension and more.

The new 2019 Kodiak 450 ATV is available in Green, Red (MSRP $5,999), and Fall Beige with Realtree Edge (MSRP $6,299). Kodiak 450 models equipped with EPS includes Green (MSRP $6,999), Fall Beige with Realtree Edge (MSRP $7,299) and an SE Backcountry blue with painted bodywork and aluminum wheels (MSRP $7,599).

2019 Raptor 700R
The Raptor 700 and Raptor 700R bring the best combination of power, lightweight handling and trail / dune-conquering performance in sport ATVs. The Raptor’s hybrid steel-aluminum frame is complemented by a controlled-fill aluminum sub-frame and cast aluminum swing-arm, all combining to produce a supremely strong structure and the lightest ATV in its class.

Utilizing Yamaha’s YZ-style fully adjustable piggyback shocks, the Raptor is a versatile machine capable of handling any terrain – from tight, twisty trails to wide open deserts. Lending to the terrain-taming prowess, front wheel travel is 9.1 inches, with 10.1 inches in the rear.

A plush seat, dual counter-balancers, electric start and reverse are added features on Raptor 700R for all-day riding comfort and convenience.

The Raptor 700 is available in graphite (MSRP $7,999), while the Raptor 700R is available in Team Yamaha Blue with color matched seat, A-arms and frame (MSRP $8,599). Featuring a GYTR front grab bar and heel guards the 2019 Raptor 700R SE (MSRP $9,199) comes in two new color options: red or Armor Gray.

2019 Raptor 90
The Raptor 90 brings the world of sport ATVs to riders ages 10 and up. With sporty styling based on the top-selling Raptor 700R, this entry-level ATV bring Yamaha’s off-road sport ATV performance, legacy and quality to the entire family and next generation of budding motorsports enthusiasts.

The Yamaha Raptor 90 is equipped with a fun and exciting 89.9-cc engine and CVT transmission, providing versatility on the trails while maintaining a smooth, linear power delivery. Additional features include single A-arm front suspension, mono-shock swing-arm rear suspension, and 18-in. tires with lightweight matte black wheels to optimize performance and styling for advancing riders.

The 2019 Raptor 90 comes in two colors: Team Yamaha Blue and white (MSRP $2,899).

2019 YFZ50
The YFZ50 introduces the fun and exciting world of sport ATVs to riders ages six and up.

Designed to meet Yamaha’s style and industry-leading performance standards, the electric-start YFZ50 mounts a 49.4-cc engine and CVT transmission on a lightweight chassis, resulting in an entry-level machine that combines an exciting acceleration feeling with a comfortable ride to help first-time riders develop their off-road abilities.

Parents can feel confident introducing their six-year-old to ATV riding with supervisory controls integrated into the machine, including adjustable RPM and throttle limiters, as well as a tether switch capable of shutting off the engine from a pull-string if or when needed.

The 2019 YFZ50 comes in either Team Yamaha Blue or white (MSRP $2,099).
