New for 2012, Sunstar’s Works Z sprocket now features an electro-less nickel coating for a trick and tough surface finish, replacing the previous chrome/polished version. It still lasts two to three times as long as standard steel while weighing up to 40 percent less. The one-of-a kind offset tooth design acts as a self-cleaning mechanism, keeping the sprocket and chain free of mud, dirt and sand buildup, helping the entire drive system to run freely and last longer. It’s simply the longest-lasting, fully steel sprocket available and excels in every condition encountered in off road racing. It’s available for 125cc and up off-road/mx models and comes with a new hardware kit (sprocket bolts, nuts and washers).

Mitas Expands SPORT FORCE+ RS Tire Range

With the three new sizes, it expands the total range to six.

Mitas is expanding its SPORT FORCE+ RS tire range with larger sizes. Expected to hit the market in April 2023, the additional sizes, 120/70ZR17, 180/55ZR17 and 190/55ZR17, expand the range to a total of six sizes.

“Following the successful launch of the Mitas SPORT FORCE+ RS in 2021, the new sizes will cover a wider range of sports bikes. The introduction of new tire sizes in the sport range is an important addition for Mitas. Our technology and innovation team have been working hard to develop larger sizes to allow more riders to hit their favorite racetrack with Mitas SPORT FORCE+ RS,” said Gustavo Pinto Teixeira, vice president of two wheels and specialty tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
