Women Riders Begin Countdown to 16th International Female Ride Day Worldwide Synchronized “Just Ride!” Action

Women plan solo and group rides both on- and off-road for Saturday, May 7!

In less than two weeks, women riders will take to the world’s roads to join in on the 16th International Female Ride Day (IFRD) and synchronized “Just Ride!” day action on Saturday, May 7. Their languages may be different, and so may their cultures, but thousands of women enthusiasts around the world plan to demonstrate their unified camaraderie and passion for motorcycling and powersports!

IFRD occurs on the first Saturday of May every year in 120 countries. The movement brings women together through the common platform of motorcycling and powersports — no matter the brand, form or style. IFRD spotlights the many women who ride as well as dispels stereotypical perceptions of women in motorsports and powersports while advancing gender parity within the sport.

IFRD Photo Share Gallery and Sweepstakes

Women who upload their ride day photos in the IFRD photo gallery will be entered to win amazing prizes donated by IFRD partners and industry. The yearly IFRD gallery on its own is cherished by the women who celebrate the day. All take great pride in representing and sharing their captured IFRD moments from their local regions and cities. These images represent an unparalleled connection and bond for all to see.

IFRD encourages women to share their International Female Ride Day stories and photos on social platforms using the hashtags #internationalfemalerideday and #ifrd2022. Their stories will be featured on both MOTORESS social platforms and the IFRD Facebook page alongside stories from other women around the world.
