Custom wheel company Vision Wheel announced the opening of its Charlotte, NC, warehouse and distribution center. The new facility will service Vision Wheel customers throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
“In our 43-year history at Vision Wheel, we’ve grown from one local shop to an international network,” said Vision Wheel Founder and CEO Roger Minor. “I’m proud to be able to open this new facility that will get the product our customers want into their hands faster and more efficiently than ever before.”Leading the new, 10,000-square-foot facility is Charlotte Regional Manager Jason Vaughn, an 18-year industry veteran.”I’m really excited to be overseeing this new location. From North Carolina, we have great coverage of the east coast for faster shipping,” Vaughn said. “The faster customers can get their order, the happier they are.”
Vision Wheel is one of the world’s largest suppliers of custom wheels, tires and accessories. The company has close to half a million square-feet of on-hand inventory available in its network of distribution centers across the United States and Canada. The North Carolina operation joins Vision Wheel’s network of distribution warehouses in Alabama, California, Indiana, Texas and Ontario, Canada.
The Charlotte region is a rapidly growing business center that has proven attractive to leading global brands. It is home to a significant motorsport industry, the headquarters of home improvement giant Lowe’s, and a recent Amazon expansion.
Vision Wheel will continue building the company’s already robust warehouse and distribution capabilities with additional facilities planned in 2019.
