To find out the best online shops in America, Newsweek collaborated with Statista to rank the top 1,000 online shops across eight industries and 39 categories.

Newsweek, in collaboration with Statista.com, has ranked Viking Bags as one of the best online shops in America. Viking Bags is a trusted name among many motorcycle communities worldwide and are one of the most trusted brands for the purchase of motorcycle saddlebags online.

Online shopping is the norm these days. According to Statista, a leading global research firm, online spending worldwide is speculated to reach a gigantic total of $5 trillion by 2021. To find out the best online shops in America, Newsweek collaborated with Statista to rank the top 1,000 online shops across eight industries and 39 categories. This research was very thoroughly done and the top 1,000 picks come only after the scrutiny of thousands of websites.

It is within the “Car, Motorcycle and Boats” category that Viking Bags finds a distinguishable spot among its competitors. The company gets a respectable rating of 7.64 on 10-point scoring criteria. The websites were ranked after several rigorous tests initially. These were based upon 48 objective and subjective criteria. After this initial screening, the online shops were tested by analysts based on 41 objective criteria that were divided into six dimensions. These six dimensions included structure and usability, trust and security, service and communication, payment, purchase and delivery, and technical performance. After this, an online survey was conducted that consisted of a panel of more than 8,000 American online shoppers to assess the appearance of the online websites. When this was done, a final rating was given to the different websites from a score out of 10.
