Always a focal point of youthful mobility and classic two-wheeled style, Vespa with its small-frame Primavera and Sprint 50cc models, now offers versions for an even wider group of riders.

As an entry point to two-wheeled adventure, the iconic small-framed platforms in the Primavera and Sprint have been a favorite for riders for decades, both as a key to the big city as well as ideal transport for small towns and university commuters. As early 2020 models, the regulated 50cc models will qualify for operation under a standard driver’s license in these states: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia and Wisconsin.

VESPA PRIMAVERA IS THE YOUNGEST AND MOST DYNAMIC VESPA SPIRIT

The first Vespa Primavera emerged in 1968. This was the year that witnessed a new awareness amongst the younger generation that suddenly wanted to yell for freedom. From the universities of California to the squares of Paris, a new social group – that of young people – demanded a place in the front row of a fast-changing society. Nimble, innovative lines, sparkling performance, easy and fun to ride – Vespa Primavera was a breath of fresh air in a world hungry for change. It has become one of the most durable and best-loved models in the Vespa story.

VESPA SPRINT IS THE MOST MODERN INTERPRETATION OF THE SPORTS VERSION OF A VESPA

Enriched by the most advanced technical features and designed to achieve the highest levels of stability and handling, Vespa Sprint came to life under the banner of riding pleasure, to translate everyday travel into fun. Starting in the mid 1960s, a new generation of sport Vespas invaded the European roads. Small, quick, extremely agile and modern, like the mentality of the young people who rode them, the Vespa Sprint is heir to a tradition of vitality and youth. Conceived as an evolution of the Primavera design, the Vespa Sprint emphasizes the sport-style evoked by its name, counting on a small and light body, both comfortable and protecting, made entirely of steel. It is characterized by very youthful lines, emboldened by a gritty rectangular headlight and is remarkable for its large 12-in. wheels, with spectacular aluminum alloy rims.
