My love of motorcycles was passed down to me from my dad, and I hope to pass my passion on to my son. I can probably credit my dad with my career at MPN. He recently mentioned to me that he wanted to get a new air cleaner for his bike, so we went through some magazines and catalogs that I had in my office, and he quickly landed on the Venturi Speed 5 from Roland Sands Design. I made a call to my friends at RSD and had them send a chrome version over to fit my dad’s 2008 Ultra. It arrived in a few short days, and of course the minute it arrived the old man was on my rear to get it installed. So we decided to do the install at my shop on Saturday morning. The plan was to start at 11:00, and as I arrived at 11:01 he had everything out of the box and tools spread out everywhere (he was ready to get it done!). I took a quick glance at the directions and decided that I didn’t need them, and we got to it. Seriously, it took about 15 minutes to take off the stock air cleaner and install the RSD unit. When we were finished I looked at the directions and read the last instruction from RSD, it was, “Now fire that bitch up and take some laps.” So that’s what my dad did. When he got back, I could tell he was happy with his new toy, and I want to thank the crew at RSD for the help. I strongly suggest to not only stock some of RSD’s parts, I would install them on a few floor models. You can’t sell what your customers can’t see!
