UCLEAR Upgrades Firmware to Enable Universal Communication

UCLEAR, the industry leaders in Bluetooth helmet communication systems, has announced a firmware upgrade for their powersports series of products that allows cross-brand interoperability with different brands of Bluetooth headsets.

UCLEAR, the industry leaders in Bluetooth helmet communication systems, has announced a firmware upgrade for their powersports series of products that allows cross-brand interoperability with different brands of Bluetooth headsets. This upgrade gives users a much wider network of users to interact with and is available via a free download on UCLEAR’s website.

This free upgrade is also designed to be accessed and utilized as easily as possible and will add yet another feature to the already robust helmet communicators offered from UCLEAR. Users will still be able to enjoy their favorite features such as taking cell phone calls, listening to music and communicating with additional riders in their group.

“This firmware upgrade is a tremendous value to the consumers that already have our products, as they’ll now be able to communicate with other Bluetooth helmet communicators,” said Rem Fox, product manager, UCLEAR. “We’ve done our best to make it extremely easy to access this free upgrade with a simple download.”

This upgrade not only benefits current consumers, but prospective ones as well. By offering cross-brand interoperability which is like an “open intercom” system between various products, prospective customers can be assured their product is compatible with solutions their friends and family may also be utilizing. Additionally, with UCLEAR’s easy downloads, customers can be sure they will have the latest technology and feature sets to enhance their experience with UCLEAR’s products.

Additional benefits of this firmware upgrade lie within the Multi-Point communications that allow a user to link their UCLEAR Communicator with a second Bluetooth device for increased versatility. For example, a user can not only add a smartphone, but also a dedicated Bluetooth GPS device.
