With schools back in session across the country, Tucker recently rolled out its Strider Adopt-A-School program partnership whereby the two companies work together to help share the excitement of two wheels with children in communities across the country. As part of the program roll-out, two elementary schools were presented with 25 Strider bikes along with the Strider Education Foundation All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Curriculum. The goal of the partnership is to inspire a new generation of two-wheel enthusiasts.
At its headquarters in Fort Worth the day before the presentation, employee volunteers worked diligently to assemble the Strider bikes in preparation for the big event. The next day, with bikes loaded into the Tucker rig, a small group headed to Cannon Elementary in Grapevine, TX for the presentation. At the same time, Tucker employees headed to Liberty Elementary School in Bolingbrook, IL, for a similar presentation. With nearly 500 kindergarten students between the schools, over 2,500 kids over the next few years will have the opportunity to experience the gift of freedom and independence that only two wheels can provide.
In addition to the bikes, each of the schools will receive staff training, certification for unlimited staff, and continued support from All Kids Bike throughout the school year. Together, with Strider, Tucker seeks to inspire, motivate and support the next generation of riders. Tucker and Strider: Building future riders—from pedals to motors!
