The OEM shock on the new 1190 Adventure R lacks position-dependent-dampening (PDS) and will bottom-out in some conditions. This can result in mechanical failures and a less-than-ideal ride. The terrain adventure bikes cross is constantly changing and riders will often need to traverse unexpected obstacles and challenges.
