Thumpstar Announces New Models for 2016 and a Return to the US

After constant demand from customers to bring the brand back to the USA and in response to the the popularity of the Hunge 125cc with its CNC Billet Frame, Thumpstar decided to make its presence felt again in the United States.

For 2016, Thumpstar plans to finally release some new models namely the TSB 70cc and TSX 125cc LE. After constant demand from customers to bring the brand back to the USA and in response to the the popularity of the Hunge 125cc with its CNC Billet Frame, Thumpstar decided to make its presence felt again in the United States.

The TSB 70cc and TSX 125cc LE models that will be released first in the USA are fully EPA compliant. The said models are also able to obtain a green sticker classification for riding in California. Not to mention, both these models have gained been popularity back in Australia and New Zealand with youth and adult riders. Thus, Thumpstar is hoping to achieve similar results in the USA.

All the new 2016 models will come out in an original Chartreuse color, which is part yellow and part green. It also projects a color that is nice and bright, which is a change from Thumpstar’s previous colourways. This makes Thumpstar one of several off-road motorcycle manufacturers to have its own color.

Thumpstar is also working on releasing some competition models, including the TSX-C 140cc and the TSR-C 160cc. These models will only be for competition use on closed course tracks. As a result, it will mean more choices for all the racers out there looking for an alternative. The brand is optimistic to have the competition models available in the USA around June 2016. On the other hand, nothing is certain on the competition models at this stage.
