“Those who’ve demonstrated the backbone, skills, determination and cajones to start a business, grow it and prosper amidst difficult economic challenges in an intensely competitive marketplace have earned respect and recognition,” said the Buffalo Chip’s Rod Woodruff.

“I’m honored to receive this recognition and want to thank Woody for considering me,” said Vance. “The real credit belongs to the team at Vance & Hines who have a passion for riding, racing and making great products for our customers.”

Vance and his partner, Byron Hines, began their relationship as drag racer and motorcycle tuner. After numerous wins and championships, the partners started Vance & Hines in 1979 to meet the needs of racers who wanted to emulate their on-track success. The company growth was fueled by quality products and great relationships with motorcycle manufacturers from around the world. Vance & Hines, based in Santa Fe Springs, California, is a top manufacturer of air intake, fuel management and exhaust products.
