TCB Brake Systems has introduced a brake banjo bolt replacement that helps prevent brakes from locking up. The TCB bolt uses an air over hydraulics technique that acts like a shock absorber in the brake system. When the brakes are applied the TCB automatically allows more wheel rotation. The $79 TCB Brake System does not claim to be a true ABS system because there are no sensors, pumps or warning lights that electronic ABS systems use. TCB does claim to retard wheel lock at all speeds before it occurs and not after without the brake “fluttering” that normally exists with electronic ABS systems.
