Round three of the AMA Supercross series was bittersweet for Team Honda HRC, as Cole Seely turned in a solid performance to notch his first podium finish of the season, while teammate and championship leader Ken Roczen was injured in a hard crash.
Following the Monster Energy Cup, Team Honda HRC’s Cole Seely journeyed across the Pacific to contest last weekend’s final round of the All Japan MX National Championship. Competing at Sportsland Sugo in Mlyagi, Japan, Seely clinched the overall victory in the IA1 (450cc) class.
American Honda Motor Corp., Inc. has announced that it has extended its contract with Team Honda HRC rider Cole Seely for an additional two years. Seely has spent much of his professional career with the Honda brand, and this agreement continues that relationship through 2018.
