STI has announced the Tech 2 DX, a new off-road motorcycle tire designed to deliver versatile performance and durability. This new 4-ply tire features a premium compound and stiff lower sidewall to maximize strength while offering high-mileage longevity. It’s available in the most popular sizes for today’s four-stroke off-road bikes, and is DOT approved for on-road use.This new tire was developed in part from the popular Tech 2 MXC tire, giving it a strong performance pedigree. The tread on the Tech 2 DX is designed to handle a great variety of terrain with a wide-block, full-depth pattern. It was also designed with dual-sport riders in mind; it is DOT approved (90% dirt/10% road).
The new Tech 2 DX comes in 80/100-21 (Part# STT22131) for the front, plus 120/100-18 (Part# STT21835) and 110/90-19 (Part# STT21935) for the rear. STI Tire & Wheel products are distributed throughout the U.S. by MTA Distributing.
