S&S Cycle Donates Striders to Local School

The company shared its love of two wheels with a kindergarten class.

S&S Cycle has shared its passion for all things two-wheeled since 1958. Whether it was riding, racing or building, its has been all-in for over six decades. More recently, the company shared that love of two wheels with a handful of rather unlikely recipients — in this case, a local kindergarten’s PE class.

“S&S is located in a rural area of Wisconsin, and the regional schools are relatively small. We’ve typically supported their sports teams and even taught engine classes at the high school but wanted to do something that had longer term impact, and that’s where the Strider balance bike program fits so well” stated S&S Director of Marketing Jon Montgomery.

Working with Striders All Kids Bikes foundation, the school also received helmets, pedal conversion kits to support older riders as well as an instructor bike and a curriculum designed to keep it safe and fun for the students. With the support of companies like S&S, All Kids Bikes has over 500 of these programs in play and claims to have impacted over 78,000 kids this year alone.
