Taking traditional waxed cotton and elevating it to the 21st Century, RSD combines a waterproof lined British Millerain waxed cotton and technical details, including wrist sealed neoprene cuffs and collars, YKK water-resistant zippers and sealed seams to make sure function follows form and keeps the wet weather out and warm in.
Utilizing RSD’s British Millerain 10.5oz Waxed Cotton, the Houston is waterproof, yet retains full flexibility — unlike the stiff originals. Also unlike the originals, the Houston features a 100% waterproof barrier layer and taped seams. Well placed waterproof zip vents allow the heat to escape when the temp goes up.
The usual RSD attention to detail means action back gussets for ease of motion, a removable quilted thermal vest for warmth and adjustable cuffs, with separate tight seal neoprene inner cuffs for added warmth and protection from the elements. The 2-way YKK zippered front gets a velcro flap closure for added protection from the elements. Armor-ready pockets in the shoulders, elbow and back make the Houston ready for action when you are.
