Finnie said it was a team effort that won the award and gave much of the credit to his employees.

Finnie has a degree in engineering and was hired to lead Performance Machine nearly three years ago. With his sights on new business development, Finnie successfully launched the first forged wheel program for the trike market and is currently ready to launch a new forged wheel program for the off-road truck and Jeep markets.

“Diversifying our interests ensures that we can continue to grow while the economy takes its toll on the motorcycle market as well as other markets,” said Finnie. “We have a new philosophy at PM and that’s to do what we do best – manufacture forged wheels, brakes and related accessories and form alliances with other industry leading companies, both within the motorcycle market as well as the automotive market."

Performance Machine, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary,
currently operates out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
complete with testing lab in La Palma, California.
