Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties Hosts Successful West Regional Showcase

Targeting Western dealers, attendees were treated to more than 200 exhibitors over two days of activities at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Dealers networked with vendors and sales reps, and also welcomed well-known industry personalities such as bike builders and motocross riders.

The Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties’ regional showcase, which took place March 23 and 24 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., proved to be a highly successful venture for the aftermarket supplier. Targeting Western dealers, attendees were treated to more than 200 exhibitors over two days of activities in the hotbed of the motorcycle industry.

While the August National Vendor Presentation in Wisconsin is an annual tradition, Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties wanted to meet its dealers during the spring selling season with both a West and East Showcase.

“The event provided our dealers with a great opportunity to learn and network with the industry’s leading vendors,” said Lou Lopez, Parts Unlimited sales manager. “Once again, our vendors did an outstanding job helping us to present a very successful event.”

Added Jim Matchette, Drag Specialties sales manager, “The dealers were excited to see new products firsthand and discuss ideas directly with the vendors on how to successfully use the new products to increase their store traffic and sales.”

Saturday afternoon, dealers met with vendors, sales reps, and top industry VIPs in a fun, casual environment. The showcase provided a special “Meet & Greet” to kick off the weekend. All guests were able to feast on California cuisine while networking with many of Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties top vendors.

On Sunday, the dealers welcomed well-known industry personalities including Zach Ames and newly-crowned three-time AMA Arenacross Champion Tyler Bowers, AMA Supercross riders Martin Davalos, Tyla Rattray and Josh Grant, custom bike builder Roland Sands, and stunt rider Jason Britton. Sam Wheeler had his Parts Unlimited sponsored streamliner on display, complete with several large logos of participating sponsors. Wheeler will try to set a new land speed record of over 400 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats later this year.

Parts Unlimited/Drag Specialties looks forward to another successful showcase in King of Prussia, Pa., this weekend, April 6-7, for its East Regional Showcase.
