Triumph Issues Recall Due to Faulty Turn Signals

Triumph is recalling certain 2012 and 2013 Daytona 675s, Speed Triples, Street Triples and Tiger 800s because the turn signal stems on the front and rear of the motorcycles may fracture. The recall potentially affects 3,799 units.

Vega Issues Safety Recall on XTS Half Helmets

The helmet manufacturer has initiated a voluntary recall of helmets in sizes large through XXL made between May 2011 and October 2012. The company has been working closely with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after four of these helmets in the XL size were found not to comply with one of the performance requirements set forth in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218.

Harley-Davidson Issues Motorcycle Recall

The recall applies to all 2012 VRSCDX motorcycles and some 2013 models to repair a potential problem with the license plate bracket. Approximately 2,798 vehicles will be recalled. The company will begin notifying owners Nov. 5, and dealers are asked to inspect and repair any affected bikes free of charge.
