Off-Road Gear Guide

While each season's gear lineup is designed to elevate a rider's comfort and safety, each new season also brings a fresh batch of colors, graphics, styles and patterns that would do those TV fashion designers proud.

Is it protective? You bet? Is it comfortable? Of course? Is it fashion? Undoubtedly!

While each season’s gear lineup is designed to elevate a rider’s
comfort and safety, each new season also brings a fresh batch of
colors, graphics, styles and patterns that would do those TV fashion
designers proud.  While your significant other might be glued to
Project Runway, we’d much rather catch up with this season’s guide on
what to wear through the whoops!

Fly Evolution Gear

Fly Racing’s Evolution line is just that: the evolution of
high-performance racewear. The jersey combines style, protection and
comfort including integrated mesh ventilation panels to dissipate
unwanted heat. The Evolution is the first production pant with
three-level tether eyelets for easy installation of the Asterisk knee
brace boot tether, and the gloves boast four-way stretch and neoprene
construction, which combine to offer support, flexibility and comfort.

One Industries Defcon Gear

Constructed from nine individually cut and sewn panels, the Defcon
jersey is carefully crafted to incorporate each of these panels into
one inclusive piece that works in unison with the riders on bike
movements. The Defcon race pant has what One calls one of the most
technologically advanced knee patterns ever designed and has been
improved through rider input and race testing.

Shift Strike Gear

Shift’s Strike jersey has technical polyester and mesh fabrics
throughout to boost moisture wicking and ventilation functions. The
Strike pant has an articulated design in the waist and knees to conform
to

the rider while in the riding position, and the X-Stretch four-way
stretch panel in the crotch increases riding mobility. Finally, the
Strike glove has a lightly padded Clarino palm and thumb reinforcement
for added comfort and durability.

Moose Sahara Gear

Designed to keep riders cool on even the hottest days, the new lineup
of 2011 Moose Racing Sahara gear features the most ventilated pants,
jerseys and gloves on the market. The ventilation, combined with the
wide variety of sizes and colors, make this combo a must-stock.

Target the enduro crowd with the Cortech Accelerator Series 2 Jacket.
This feature-packed wonder includes an integrated modular
backpack/hydration pack that can be completely removed or added as

goatskin leather palm with ergonomically designed palm patch configured
to increase grip comfort.

Thor Ride Jacket

The Ride Jacket utilizes a seam-sealed outer shell with a Hipora
membrane that’s breathable yet waterproof for all-day riding comfort.
The rugged nylon outer shell is durable and has plenty of ventilation
flaps to prevent overheating. Ballistic nylon panels are added in all
high wear areas for additional abrasion resistance, and the ample
storage pockets keep everything in place.

Klim Traverse Jacket and Pants

The Traverse Jacket and Pant are designed specifically for enduro and
off-road riders who demand extremely durable, waterproof and precisely

they face.

Breaking down the art and science of a well-designed, customer-focused, profit-friendly parts package.

Good parts managers are a rare breed. We are among the few who enjoy flipping through paper catalogs and covering them with notes. We love seeing how other companies merchandise shelves. We are always absorbing different sales techniques and wondering if we could use them too.

In that vein, when it comes to continuing to boost our numbers post-COVID, I have a few strategies for you to try. It might sound odd, but not everyone can remember that most winches need a winch mount. Or that certain winches require a hidden harness stored at the bottom of a book (hello, Can-Am). Or that Honda has split its winch harness between the winch and the mount. If you don't want service techs to hate you, you need to order both part numbers or else face their wrath.
