National Powersport Auctions (NPA) announces it will debut its newest powersports auction segment, NPA Black Market, during the trade days of the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo).
NPA Black Market offers dealerships, retailers and service shops the opportunity to purchase non-current name brand powersports gear, accessories and parts in bulk through NPA’s online auction platform.
NPA Black Market runs online 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers thousands of products by top powersports brands. Available at www.npauctions.com, NPA says Black Market has already been a proven success for brands like Troy Lee Designs and Vance & Hines. NPA Black Market offers more than 250 types of gear and accessories each month with new product being uploaded daily.
Accompanying the debut of NPA Black Market, NPA will also host the NPA Auction lounge located in Room 305 A/B. Here, dealers can learn about the launch of NPA Black Market along with being able to bid on NPA’s regularly scheduled live auctions in Cincinnati and Atlanta via NPA Simulcast.
The lounge will be open to attendees during the first three days of the event, Wednesday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. It features free Wi-Fi, couches and chairs, and complimentary food and drink.
“AIMExpo offers NPA a tremendous opportunity to debut a business segment like NPA Black Market among dealers as well as the attending trade media,” said Ryan Keefe, NPA’s media manager. “We look forward to welcoming dealers to our booth, and then to our Auction Lounge to experience one of our powersport auctions firsthand while learning how NPA can enhance the profitability of their business.”
Added Larry Little, VP and GM of Marketplace Events’ Motorcycle Group, “The education component for dealers is extremely important at AIMExpo, and we’re pleased that in addition to the learning opportunity at the lounge, dealers have a historic opportunity to engage with NPA and other industry leaders at the Industry Roundtable discussion in the Powering Profits track of the Powersports Business Institute@AIMExpo. We welcome Jim Woodruff of NPA, Sameer Gaur of GE Capital (wholesale financing), Brad Hagi of KTM, Matt Lekawa of Sheffield Financial (retail financing), and Mark Peterson of Southwest Superbikes.”
