During the EICMA show in Milan, the all new MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR was voted to be among the three most beautiful bikes of the year. The Dragster 800 RR is completely new from the engine to chassis and electronics.
The manufacturer introduced an updated product line at the show, starting with the Brutale 800 RR and the new Brutale 800 in the RC “Reparto Corse” model range along with the existing F3 675 RC, F3 800 RC, Dragster 800 RC and Turismo Veloce RC, which were inspired by the MV Agusta Racing Team competing in both the 2017 World Supersport and World Superbike championships.
Additionally, MV Agusta has launched a new partnership with another iconic Italian brand – Pirelli, through their internal design group. Pirelli Design collaborated with MV Agusta to develop two motorcycle versions in a very limited production.
MV Augusta also announced that it has completed it turn-around objective by receiving the formal approval of its restructuring plan. The company was recently refinanced through new partner ComSar Invest. ComSar Invest is an investment group headed by the Sardarov family, partner with Giovanni Castiglioni as shareholders of the company.
Giovanni Castiglioni, President of MV Agusta has commented: “I am very satisfied with having successfully completed a very complex restructuring and repositioning plan of a brand that I believe to be a true icon of ‘Made in Italy’ in the world. We will continue to work with determination to consolidate all of our goals”.
