MTX Audio Announces New Audio Kits and Components for 2014+ Polaris RZR Vehicles

This new offering is primarily in response to the changes that Polaris made in the RZR platform starting with the 2019 Turbo S models and will be backwards compatible to most 2014+ models.

MTX Audio, of the MiTek Electronics and Communications Group, is announcing the introduction of all new audio kits and components to their lineup of Polaris RZR audio products. This new offering is primarily in response to the changes that Polaris made in the RZR platform starting with the 2019 Turbo S models and will be backwards compatible to most 2014+ models.

Two of the primary component additions are with the front and subwoofer speaker systems. A variation from our other model of front speaker pods, the new RZR-14-FS will mount in the footwell in a kick pod style installation using our new POD-LOC technology. These have been engineered to maximize the audio output without sacrificing legroom, sound quality or output while riding. Additionally, the speaker pods installation time has also been addressed with a simple to install, quick mount bracket and single bolt mounting system that gets the speakers mounted in the vehicle in minutes.

The subwoofer option, the RZR-14-SW,  is a completely new design of the enclosure as well as the components inside.  The enclosure consists of a high output 10-inch subwoofer in a convertible sealed/ ported design made possible through our Quick Install Port Seal technology or QuIPS. We’ve also added heavy duty Neoprene sound damping to the exterior of the enclosure to greatly reduce bass induced rattle in the vehicles body panels improving the overall sound quality when you’re riding. The enclosure is intended to be coupled with the MUD600-1 mono-block amplifier and mounts in place of the vehicles glove compartment and features a side firing design to maximize bass output. The ported design capability allows it to produce deep vibrating bass while the QuIPS technology helps protect your investment in case of deep-water situations by simply installing the seal before going submersible.

Also being introduced are all new RZR audio kits that are designed to fit more models and platforms than ever before. They will consist of a total of six packages that will work on Ride Command and non- Ride Command vehicles alike from model years 2014 to present. These kits will offer different levels of audio experience from the basic package with our 200/400-watt RMS 2-speaker system, to a complete party in a box with our 1000-watt RMS 5-speaker system. All kits come complete with direct-fit hardware and plug-n-play harnesses for a frustration-free installation as well.

“With the changes in the RZR platform in the last couple years, we saw this as an opportunity create an audio experience for our customers that goes above anything they’ve heard before.” said Director of Sales and Marketing, Jason Fickas. “We’ve put a lot of research and development into the new design of our kits to ensure they are the easiest to install without sacrificing  any output or sound quality. I can’t wait for all types of riders out there to start experiencing this all new offering from us.”

The new RZR kits and components are slotted to start shipping mid-May and more details will follow soon. Be sure to follow MTX on social media or check out their website for more details as they develop.
