Leading motorcycle media outlet Motorcycle USA is pleased to announce the hiring of Adam Booth as its new Off-Road Editor. Booth brings 17 years of publishing industry experience and a lifetime of off-road enthusiasm to the MotoUSA staff. Effective immediately, he will lead off-road content production for the publication.
“I’m excited to have Adam join our editorial team,” said MotoUSA Editor Bart Madson. “During the past 10 years Adam has established a well-earned reputation as one of the hardest working off-road journalists in the industry. MotoUSA is ramping up for 2015 and in Adam, we’re quite fortunate to have found an editor who can step in and contribute immediately to improving our organization.”
Booth joins MotoUSA after working at Dirt Rider for the past three years, where he served as Senior Editor. Prior to that, he spent seven years as Associate Editor for Dirt Bike. In addition to his motorcycle magazine experience, he also logged a seven-year stint as Editor of BMX Plus! Magazine.
As Off-Road Editor, Booth is tasked with spearheading MotoUSA’s dirt bike-related content. His role includes bike reviews and multi-bike comparisons, as well as technical features and industry news. He will also contribute his talents as an accomplished photographer to MotoUSA’s multimedia team. Adam will be based in the company’s Irvine, California, office.
Former MotoUSA Off-Road Editor Justin Dawes remains on staff as Senior Editor. Dawes will continue to contribute dirt- and street-related feature content. He will also continue leading MAG Media Group’s ATV/UTV website, 4WheelDirt.com, where he serves as Editor.
“Justin does amazing work at MotoUSA and will remain a vital asset in our two-wheeled content production,” said Madson. “However, he can now focus more of his creative energy on 4WheelDirt, a title which represents a terrific growth opportunity for the MAG Media Group. I’m keen to see what both Adam and Justin can contribute this year to their publications.”
