The Motorcycle Taiwan 2016 exhibition is set to be held April 6-9 at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall 1. A total of 160 exhibitors will be participating in the event, with 348 booths. The total number of exhibitors and booths has increased by 10.5% and 21.6% respectively from last year. Taiwan Golden Bee (TGB) Co., Ltd. and Adiva Co., Ltd., both exporters of motorcycles, will be participating this year, exhibiting a 1000cc ATV and a 3-wheeled scooter (with 2 front wheels). Major accessories brands such as NCY, Yih Jing, Che Liwu and Koso will also be participating, exhibiting a variety of products.
Faced with more international competition than years past, the Taiwanese motorcycle industry has been focusing on growth in three key areas: innovative and customized Taiwan-made motorcycle parts & accessories, best sourcing for OEM suppliers, and quality products from Taiwan and other countries. Besides strong expertise in hard parts and motorcycle manufacturing, the Taiwanese motorcycle industry has also excelled at manufacturing motorcycle apparel and offering maintenance services.
This year, in addition to Taiwanese exhibitors, foreign brands participating in the exhibition include Hot Engineering from Malaysia, Sanwa Kasei from Japan, Deestone from Thailand and Orientus from Indonesia. Sixteen companies from China will also be participating in the exhibition. Many important foreign buyers will be viewing the exhibition, including representatives from Germany, Russia, Italy, U.S. and Singapore.
In order to expand interest in the customized parts section, a custom bike show has been planned. Fifty motorcycles will be competing, with the theme of the competition divided into four major categories: hippie & retro, dynamic performance refit, visual modification, and leisure & tourism. Exhibitors’ products will be matched with selected vehicles to generate further innovation. The competition will be a chance for participants to get a good look at the craftsmanship of Taiwan’s motorcycle experts.
International industry visitors are invited to pre-register online to participate in the exhibition and presentations. In addition to airport pick-up services, the organizers will also provide one complimentary gift to each international buyer who completes the pre-registration process. The official website of the exhibition is www.MotorcycleTaiwan.com.tw. The EV Taiwan exhibition will also be held at the same time and location.
