Wednesday, September 9, 2015, is the official kick off of the GEICO Motorcycle Hot Bike Tour 2015 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. From there participants will log 1,000 miles in five days, stopping at four other locations. Stop two on this tour is Mitchell, South Dakota.

“The Hot Bike Tour is a once in a lifetime opportunity for enthusiasts to ride with some of their favorite bike builders from TV and magazines. Motorcycle rider or not, it’s also a great chance for locals to bring their families and friends downtown to enjoy the bike show, a stunt show, food and live music. This is my favorite event of the year, and this year, the tour’s “Stop 2” is Klock Werks hometown of Mitchell, on my birthday!” exclaimed Brian Klock, one of the featured builders for the tour.

Hot Bike Tour riders will get a chance to be in a group photo in front of Mitchell’s claim to fame, the recently remodeled “Worlds Only Corn Palace”, as well as participate in activities all day long in Mitchell. Klock Werks will be offering tours of its facility at 915 S. Kimball St. and providing lunch to registered riders. Tours will also be available at the Prehistoric Indian Village, Dakota Discovery Museum, among other favorite things to do in Mitchell including visiting Lake Mitchell, Cabela’s, and more!

The party will take place downtown where a ride in bike show will be held by Mitchell’s own Victory Dealer, Saber’s Victory & V-Twin. And you don’t want to miss the anticipated Bike Build Off featuring 28 top builders from around the world, because attendees get to cast their vote for best bike. Stunt shows will be performed by Unknown Industries, Victory Motorcycles will be offering demo rides, there will be live music, giveaways, vendors, and more!

Klock Werks will be offering a Flare Windshield “Test Pilot” Program, allowing attendees of the Hot Bike Tour to put the Flare Windshield through some real world miles. Riders registered for the Hot Bike Tour can sign up now through September 4 at www.kustombaggers.com. Test Pilots receive a free t-shirt and an opportunity to be included in photographs and videos of the event.

“Klock Werks is honored to be included in the Hot Bike Tour! We want to make the visit to Mitchell extra special for all riders and visitors, and are so happy to share our city. Riders have the option to ride for one day, or all five, and all makes and models of bikes are encouraged to participate, so we hope that many will choose to stop in Mitchell, and of course stop to see our shop while they are in town,” shared Laura Klock.
