The MIC has announced key new benefits for exhibiting members at AIMExpo 2016, scheduled for October 13-16 at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center. In addition, special introductory membership pricing is now available for 2016 AIMExpo exhibitors not yet a part of the MIC’s family of industry companies.

With the Motorcycle Industry Council’s (MIC) acquisition of the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) last fall, both the industry’s trade association and premier trade show united for the greater benefit of MIC members and the powersports industry as a whole. Working together as one, the MIC has announced key new benefits for exhibiting members at AIMExpo 2016, scheduled for October 13-16 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). In addition, special introductory membership pricing is now available for 2016 AIMExpo exhibitors not yet a part of the MIC’s family of industry companies.

MIC member companies exhibiting at this year’s fourth annual show will be eligible for a show credit of $100 per 10’x10′ booth purchased, with a total maximum credit of up to 50% of annual paid dues. The financial benefit for member exhibitors can either be applied toward booth investment, or to enhanced show branding and promotional opportunities across the AIMExpo platform.

“MIC’s mission to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling, aligns seamlessly with the vision and platform of AIMExpo, offering the industry the most efficient and effective opportunity to conduct face-to-face business with every aspect of the marketplace,” said Tim Buche, MIC President. “The introduction of increased member benefits has been an anticipated synergy of MIC and AIMExpo, and this adds significant tangible value for exhibiting member companies. It’s also important to note that overall proceeds from the show are reinvested directly back into the industry, supporting MIC activities that benefit all members.”

In a related move to encompass the greater market, the MIC will offer introductory membership pricing to 2016 exhibitors not currently an MIC member. Exhibitors who join will receive a one-time 25% discount on annual membership pricing and have the opportunity to take advantage of the increased member benefits for booth credit.

“Providing direct financial benefits to MIC members and a membership incentive to non-member exhibitors is a good first step in the combined effect of the industry’s trade association and the industry’s key trade event being united,” said Mike Webster, Senior Vice President, MIC Events. “AIMExpo brings the industry together in one place, at one time, with a central goal of promoting the greater powersports business. Being a part of MIC also means working more closely with exhibitors to jointly attract new trade visitors; bolstering our ability to increase dealer attendance.”

Current exhibitors that are MIC members should contact their AIMExpo sales representative for additional information on how the credits can be applied, while 2016 exhibitors not yet a member can also learn more from the AIMExpo sales team.

Interested companies looking to exhibit at AIMExpo should contact an AIMExpo Account Manager toll free at 855-MC-SHOWS (855-627-4697).
