MIC Dealer Roundtable: Beyond the Door Swing July 22

Part II of the Motorcycle Industry Council’s (MIC) Dealer Roundtable will feature presentations from Curtis Sloan, owner of Sloan’s Motorcycle-ATV in Tennessee, and Brent Gyuricza, owner of Maverick Motorsports in Montana, and Gart Sutton to bring perspectives from both big and small dealerships on key issues facing every dealership.

Beyond the Door Swing dealer symposium set for July 22 at 10 am pst.

Is momentum slowing? Has weekend traffic ended? With COVID restrictions dropping, are potential customers preoccupied with sports events and personal travel? How should we respond?

How will stand-alone or small-group dealerships be able to find and leverage technology to meet the expectations of our new customer base?

In addition to the MIC’s efforts, how can we gain local and state government cooperation for more off-road vehicle trails?

The MIC is bringing its Symposium to dealers online on July 22, 2021, at 10 am PST. For more information or to register, visit micsymposium.com. This webinar is free to Members and ALL Powersports Dealers.

What do you do if you are running a comparatively small dealership in a comparatively small town surrounded by larger cities with much bigger dealerships? How do you effectively compete with those mega dealerships? By offering a clubhouse atmosphere, reasonable deals and top-of-the-line customer service.

Just take Santa Barbara Motorsports as a perfect example. The town of Santa Barbara, California, is medium-sized, an hour and a half north of Los Angeles and right on the ocean. The weather is balmy most of the year, and there are good beaches. Wilderness starts east of the town, with many opportunities for both on and off-road riding.
