METZELER USA and Indian Motorcycle Partnership Extends to New Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty Models

The METZELER CRUISETEC was once again selected as original equipment tires for Indian’s exciting new models.

METZELER USA has announced the extension of its partnership with Indian Motorcycle with the Indian Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty models.

This collaboration between the German-born tire brand and America’s First Motorcycle Co. dates back to 2019, when METZELER was chosen as the development partner and exclusive supplier for the 2020 Indian Challenger. The METZELER CRUISETEC tire became original equipment on several other Indian Motorcycle models in 2021, including the Roadmaster, Chieftain, Springfield and Vintage.

Now, METZELER CRUISETEC has once again been chosen to equip two exciting new motorcycle models from Indian: the Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty. Blending iconic design with contemporary style, the Scout Rogue is built for riders looking to stand out from the crowd. With an attractive price point, low seat height, manageable wheelbase and low center of gravity, the Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty are inviting options for riders of all skill levels.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our collaboration with Indian Motorcycle,” explained Josh Whitmire, North America original equipment manager for Metzeler. “Indian is producing some of the most technologically advanced and high-performance V-twin motorcycles on the market, so it is only fitting that these bikes come from the factory equipped with high-performance METZELER CRUISETEC tires.”

The CRUISETEC was carefully designed by the METZELER product development team to offer Cruiser and Touring riders a true performance tire capable of handling their heavyweight machines. Dual compound rear tires promote fast warm-up and chemical grip even in wet conditions, while the brush-like tread pattern helps clear water and keep your motorcycle glued to the road. The profile, reminiscent of a more aggressive sport touring tire, helps maximize the contact patch while cornering and offers incredible stability for those riding with a passenger.

OE Fitment:

  • Front Tires: METZELER CRUISETEC 130/60B19 61H
  • Rear Tires: METZELER CRUISETEC 150/80B16 77H
