LawLinq Sponsors Motorcycle Safety Video Contest

In honor of Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, the Los Angeles-based firm calls on riders to submit videos about motorcycle safety gear.

According to LawLinq, a Los Angeles-based lawyer referral service, in 2022, there were 13,737 motorcycle crashes in California, equating to nearly 38 crashes per day. Los Angeles County alone had 2,766 motorcycle crashes last year, which is almost eight crashes per day.

These accidents are not just numbers but real people whose lives have been forever changed. In 2022, 3,134 victims in Los Angeles County were injured or lost their lives.

As May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and to help reduce these tragedies, LawLinq is excited to announce its Video Contest, inviting riders to submit a video promoting safety gear and protocols for a chance to win $500. LawLinq is encouraging participants to get creative with their submissions, as long as the videos are not taken while riding, and follow all guidelines.

The link also shows statistics for the number of total motorcycle crashes in 2022 in Los Angeles County, the percentage of victims with fatalities or injuries, the California counties with the most motorcycle crashes in the last three years as well as a map of all Los Angeles County motorcycle crashes.
