Las Vegas Harley-Davidson to Raffle Motorcycle for Nevada’s 150th Anniversary

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson has begun selling raffle tickets for a custom, one-of-a-kind Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle signed by Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval. All proceeds will be donated to Nevada 150 Foundation.

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson has begun selling raffle tickets for a custom, one-of-a-kind Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle signed by Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval.

Only 2,000 raffle tickets have been made available, and each includes a commemorative chip. Tickets are $150 each with all proceeds being donated to Nevada 150 Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization formed to support the Nevada Sesquicentennial Commission and official Nevada Sesquicentennial Events.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson (2605 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 100, Las Vegas, Nevada 89169) or at any Nevada 150 event where they are sold. Tickets will also be available at several events that the bike will be making appearances at throughout Clark, Nye and Lincoln counties.

“This motorcycle is an incredible tribute to the State of Nevada,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “It is beautiful enough to be in a museum, but it is meant to be ridden. It will be an incredible prize for the lucky winner. I want to thank Tim Cashman, Don Andress, and Las Vegas Harley-Davidson for not only creating this one-of-a-kind motorcycle, but also for their enthusiastic support of our state’s 150th celebration.”

The bike, a 2014 FLHX Harley-Davidson Street Glide, was created from the ground up to celebrate the state’s 150th anniversary and brandishes a signature from Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval on the rear fender. It features a custom two-tone Nevada blue paint job highlighted by the Battle Born Nevada 150th logo, the Great Seal of the State of Nevada and the Nevada State Flag. The bike boasts chrome all around, upgraded stereo and speakers and a heavy breather kit and mufflers for extra horsepower and sound.

The winner will be selected at the grand opening of Las Vegas Harley-Davidson’s new location this fall, which will be located directly on the Las Vegas Strip at 5191 S. Las Vegas Boulevard, just steps from the famed Welcome to Las Vegas sign. The 50,000 square-foot space will feature a dealership, motorcycle rentals and a retail store.
