Kyle Petty
Kyle joins us to talk about the upcoming Kyle Petty Charity Ride in May of 2014 that begins in Carlsbad, California and ends in Daytona Beach, FL. This is the 20th KPCR and the first time the riders have traveled from coast-to-coast. The logistics of 200+ motorcyclist traveling 2,800 miles is challenging. The proceeds benefit the Victory Junction Camp for chronically ill children created in honor of his son, Adam Petty. Since the first KPCR 7,330 riders have logged more than 10.7 million miles, visited 48 of 50 states and has donated $15 million to the Victory Junction Camp and other charities for children.
Craig Vetter
The 1999 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Member rides in to discuss his amazing life as a motorcyclist, motorcycle racer, race team sponsor and most importantly a designer of aerodynamic touring and sport fairings for motorcycles to improve air flow and fuel efficiency. Craig truly altered the course of touring motorcycles forever with timeless classic designs. His work continues today in pushing the envelope of slip-streaming and fuel economy with groundbreaking and fresh designs.
