Klock Werks Triumph Rocket III Motor Trike Sets World Land Speed Record at Bonneville Salt Flats

The Klock Werks Triumph Rocket III, piloted by Brian Klock, posted a top speed of 136 mph and broke a FIM World Record at the recent speed trials at Bonneville Salt Flats.

The Klock Werks Triumph Rocket III, a speed trike based on a Triumph Rocket III Touring bike, a Carpenter Racing motor kit and a Motor Trike conversion, posted a top speed of 136 mph, breaking a FIM World Record (pending ratification). The trike, piloted by Brian Klock, broke the record at the recent Speed Trials by BUB at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, Utah. Klock is the and president of Klock Werks.

 

"So many folks were cheering us on as we were escorted to impound after that first pass," said Klock. 

The trike was supported by Kicker, Pingel Enterprises, Metzeler, Parts Unlimited, Interstate Batteries, Saddleman, ARI, Klock Werks, Motor Trike and Triumph Motorcycles.
