This past March at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, K&L Supply Founder and CEO Joseph Lee presented the City of Santa Clara and the Santa Clara Police Department with the UT1000 Utility Trailer. The Homeland Security and Special Events Unit will utilize the trailer to improve its overall operation at Levi’s stadium.
“This trailer will increase our officers’ efficiency during major events, such as WrestleMania, NFL Football Games, Concerts, and Fourth of July Celebrations” said Jamie L. Mathews, Santa Clara City Mayor.
The K&L UT1000 Utility trailer has unique features that allow it to be used with most outdoor vehicles, including trucks, tractors, SxS (side by sides) and UTVs. With these capabilities, the S.C.P.D. will effectively be able to transport equipment, tools and supplies during busy events.
“We are thrilled that our trailer will be able to help the local police force and department of homeland security” said Joseph Lee, CEO and founder of K&L Supply. “Our commitment to supporting state and federal agencies is steadfast. We are thankful for the opportunity to show our appreciation for their hard work.”
In the past two months alone, K&L has also partnered with the City of Lake Elsinore, CA, and the California Parks Department, both of whom are now utilizing the new K&L Trailer.
Lake Elsinore City Manager, Grant Yates, anticipates the UT1000 Trailer will be a valuable addition to their security and event coordination.
“This trailer will assist with emergency management of Homeland Security efforts and several special events, including the Lucas Oil Races,” said Yates. “We appreciate K&L’s continued support, and look forward to partnering with them on the upcoming Lake Elsinore Grand Prix, and our new ATV Mud Races.”
