Amid a sea of green at their INTERMOT booth and reveling in the record fourth consecutive World Superbike Championship by Jonathan Rea, Kawasaki makes a “Performance Promise” for 2019.

Unveiled first were updates to the Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon. Both of these supercharged performance machines receive a significant increase in power for 2019, with a 231hp peak rating, further enhanced by Kawasaki’s Ram-Air Technology.

Additional updates include a new highly durable paint on areas that are susceptible to additional wear from normal riding, the fitment of a new TFT meter panel and OE adoption of Bridgestone RS11 tires.

The latest Brembo Stylema brake calipers were fitted to the H2 and H2 Carbon to offer increased braking performance with superior cooling characteristics.

Kawasaki’s new “Rideology” smart phone app further enhances the technology of these two machines.

“The visual impact and engineering prowess of the Ninja H2 will surely increase thanks to this major update,” commented Kenji Nagahara, Managing Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe.” “This supercharged machine is the physical embodiment of our corporate strength. The addition of more power, smartphone “Rideology” technology and other specification upgrades for 2019 shows that as a company we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible and delivering cutting-edge motorcycles to the market.”

Immediately following the Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon announcements, Kawasaki unveiled for the first time, two new entry-level models, the 2019 Ninja 125 and Z125, alongside a customer awareness campaign titled “the toughest choice.”

Also announced, the ZX-10R models will offer increased torque and power for 2019, thanks to a change to finger-follower valve actuation.

Kawasaki’s “Performance Promise” looks to provide an exciting riding experience for 2019.
