Kawasaki Unveils 2021 Teryx KRX 1000 Special Edition with Hifonics Audio

The Special Edition comes complete with 6.5-inch door speakers, a 12-inch subwoofer, a high-grade Hifonics Bluetooth/AM/FM source unit and a 600W 5-channel amplifier.

Hifonics accessory audio kits sell directly through Kawasaki with the all-new 2021 Teryx KRX 1000 Special Edition sport side-by-side as a factory-installed option.

Brian Sherman, vice president of product & marketing for Maxxsonics USA said, “Everyone involved has worked very hard to make sure that we could pull this off. We’ve been successfully providing these parts since March and this week the vehicle went live.”

The Special Edition comes complete with 6.5-inch door speakers, a 12-inch subwoofer, a high-grade Hifonics Bluetooth/AM/FM source unit, and a 600W 5-channel amplifier. Giving the dash an interior centerpiece to the vehicle, the high-contrast color LED screen of the unit is built into the center console. Apple Control enables compatible Apple devices to be controlled by the stereo through the integrated USB plug in the top dash compartment.

A pair of 6.5-in. coaxial 2-way waterproof speakers are built into the doors as their composite midrange cones create deep and accurate mid-bass all while being paired with 0.75-in. titanium dome tweeters for a crystal-clear high-frequency performance. Lastly, the 12-in. subwoofer was specifically designed for the Teryx KRX 1000 Special Edition and is mounted behind the seats where the boom of the bass from any song can be felt. Giving a DJ effect, the subwoofer’s rear cover illuminates when the audio system is powered on.

“Kawasaki has said orders for the new vehicle have been very strong. This will certainly lead to future factory install models for Hifonics in the future,” concluded Sherman.
