The Missouri based company, Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing, donated two Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra LX to the Maryville Department of Public Safety, Police and Fire Department to help them patrol and perform water rescues at the Mozingo Lake and Recreational area.

“We are always looking for ways to give back to our community,” said Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Vice President and Plant Manager Anita Coulter. “With nearly 850 employees, our Maryville plant is a large part of the community and we appreciate the efforts of the Maryville Department of Public Safety. We take great pride in knowing Kawasaki can make their jobs a little easier by providing them with the tools they need to do their job, like a Kawasaki Jet Ski watercraft.”

The Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing plant in Maryville produces Kawasaki engines for a wide variety of uses. Sitting on 113 acres, the plant has produced more than 10 million engines since it opened nearly 30 years ago.

The new Jet Ski watercraft will join a fleet of other Kawasaki products, including two additional Jet Ski watercraft, a Kawasaki MULE side-x-side and two Kawasaki ATVs. These machines help patrol the 3,000 acres park with a 1,200 acre recreational lake that sees nearly 500,000 visitors a year.
