Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) recently announced their sponsorship of the annual AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 7-9th, 2017, featuring prominently the Riders of Kawasaki (ROK), in association with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).
With KMC’s involvement, a special group of former Kawasaki racers will be on hand, serving as the event’s Grand Marshals. Attendees will have the chance to meet motocross pro Gary Semics, champion drag racer Tony Nicosia and former Kawasaki test rider and mechanic Steve Johnson. AMA will also be hosting a Kawasaki motorcycle display with a special selection of historic and new Kawasaki models. This year AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will also be giving away a new Kawasaki Z125 PRO.
“With more than 50 years in America, Kawasaki is excited to be a part of the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days,” said Kawasaki Vice President of Marketing Chris Brull. “The event has become a staple in the American motorcycle culture, and we hope our racers, motorcycle display, and Riders of Kawasaki group will help to even further celebrate motorcycling in America.”
