INTERMOT and Motorcycle & Powersports News teamed up this year to offer an exclusive VIP package for INTERMOT 2016. Dealers and industry professionals who registered on MPN‘s website won an all-access pass, which included exclusive tours and media events and access to private meetings with exhibitors.

Ingo Riedeberger, Project Manager for Koelnmesse/INTERMOT, spoke to guests, which included dealers as well as some manufacturer representatives, about the benefits of being in the VIP program. He explained how INTERMOT has been a place to conduct business for the international motorcycle and powersports industry for many years. Riedeberger added that virtually every segment of the global industry is represented at the show, and that as VIP guests, he would host a tour of specific areas or set up private meetings with exhibitors.

Brasilianische Besuchergruppe, Congress Centrum NordChristoph Werner, of Senior VP of Trade Fair Management at Koelnmesse, also spoke to the guests about the show and some of the history of Koelnmesse/INTERMOT. He noted that this year the show has seen a solid increase in exhibitor participation. Werner also highlighted INTERMOT Customized as part of what has driven growth for the show, which is in large part, a reflection of the current trends in the industry.

MPN Publisher Sean Donohue also spoke to the guests and welcomed them to the show as well as offering to help connect with key industry representatives.

There are 1,127 exhibitors from 41 countries participating in INTERMOT 2016, which is a 17 percent increase over 2014. While final numbers of Trade Day visitors are not yet available, many commented that exhibitor booths were very busy. In 2014 there were 55,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries.
