Husqvarna Motorcycles and premium Italian casual clothing brand REPLAY recently unveiled the latest result of their partnership – a clothing collection aimed squarely at style-conscious riders.
The collection’s riding jeans feature a pioneering new denim fiber. Traditional motorcycling denimwear has two layers, with denim over Kevlar or one of its derivatives. The new denim fiber adopted by REPLAY uses a single layer to provide protection with comfort without compromising looks. This fabric technology merges REPLAY’s premium Hyperflex denim with CORDURA fiber, spun together in a single layer to allow clothing to be cut for a contemporary fit, incredible comfort, and protection.
The jeans have CE Level B certification with abrasion resistance up to 28-mph. Other benefits of the fabric are that garments made from it are up to half the usual weight of denim jeans offered as motorcycle clothing. The organic fibers and single-layer technology make it breathable, and four-way stretchability of up to 50% ensures comfort.
