HJC Celebrates 45th Anniversary with Title Sponsorship of 2017 MotoGP French Grand Prix

hjc-sponsorshipDorna Sports has announced HJC Helmets as the title sponsor of the 2017 Grand Prix de France, as the legendary 4.2km Bugatti Circuit hosts the world’s fastest motorcycle racing championship once again. The race weekend, set for May 2017, will therefore be named the HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France.

The title sponsor agreement sees HJC further their commitment to Dorna Sports and MotoGP as the helmet manufacturer also celebrates its 45th anniversary. HJC became the first helmet company ever named as title sponsor a Grand Prix, with the HJC Helmets Grand Prix Ceske Republiky in 2016.

Mr. W.K. Hong, Founder and CEO, HJC Helmets, commented:

“As we celebrate 45 years in motorcycle industry, HJC Helmets is pleased to continue our partnership with Dorna to be the Title Sponsor of 2017 HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France. Just like any avid fan of motorcycle racing around the world, we simply love racing at the highest level which is MotoGP. The sound that MotoGP bikes make and the unbelievable speeds in which the best riders race, we are proud to be part of this excitement. Besides the iconic characteristics of the circuit, HJC chose to sponsor Le Mans because France is one of the most important markets for HJC and is also home to the Headquarters of HJC Europe. We anticipate that this event will again be tremendously successful for all the fans of racing!”

Pau Serracanta, Managing Director, Commercial Area, Dorna Sports, commented:

“We are thrilled to have HJC Helmets return as the Title Sponsor of a MotoGP race weekend. After the incredible success of the HJC Helmets Grand Prix Ceske Republiky in 2016, to be able to continue the partnership between HJC and MotoGP at another historic venue such as Le Mans is fantastic news for all parties involved.”
