Corbin has announced that Hells Angels members Sonny Barger and Phil Cross will be on hand at Corbin’s Fourth Annual Rider Appreciation Day to sign autographs and promote new media – Cross’ book, Gypsy Joker to A Hells Angel, and Barger’s film, Dead in 5 Heartbeats. The event takes place on Saturday, July 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Corbin’s headquarters in Hollister, Calif.
"Phil’s new book, Gypsy Joker to A Hells Angel, is based on 44 years as a Hells Angel," said Barger. "The photos are incredible, as if you were there, and the stories are a must read for all motorcycle riders."
Dead in 5 Heartbeats is based on Barger’s successful novel of the same title and was shot in 24 days in Arizona. A majority of the featured fictional motorcycle club members in the film, "The Infidelz," are played by real Hells Angels members. Also, a majority of the motorcycle clubs featured in the film are authentic, Arizona-based groups, including The Hooligans, Alma and The Rollin Knights. The movie will be shown on several large flat screens throughout the event, and will be released on DVD in September.
In addition, Corbin will be running factory tours throughout the day and will also offer a 10 percent discount on all Corbin products throughout the week.
