Harley-Davidson, Inc. has announced a $100,000 donation from The Harley-Davidson Foundation to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts following the flooding and tornadoes that occurred in the U.S., including Missouri, Alabama and Oklahoma.
The Foundation has earmarked $50,000 of the donation to support efforts in Joplin, Missouri. The remaining $50,000 will support the Red Cross’ General Disaster Relief Fund.
“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this recent devastation,” said Tonit Calaway, Harley-Davidson, Inc. vice president and president of The Harley-Davidson Foundation. “We are proud to make this donation and help provide relief during this unfortunate time.”
The Harley-Davidson Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that builds partnerships with charitable organizations to help support the communities where Harley-Davidson does business.
