Harley-Davidson Nightster Heat Shield Liners

These liners from DEI insulate the outer heat shield.

Don’t sweat getting stuck in traffic with Design Engineering Inc.’s (DEI) new Harley Davidson Nightster Heat Shield Liners.

The heat from the exhaust system can be especially uncomfortable in slow traffic or for riders with shorter legs. DEI’s Heat Shield Liner kits can reduce the heat radiating from the motorcycle’s exhaust system, making rides cooler and more comfortable for drivers and passengers.

DEI’s Heat Shield Liner Kit is designed to insulate the outer heat shield. The shield liners are precision-CNC-cut for a perfect fit between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield and remain completely hidden once installed. The result is a cooler ride without any disruption to the look or lines of the bike.

Installation is simple, and no permanent modifications are needed. These Heat Shield Liners are dual layers constructed of aluminum and DEI’s Dura 2000 insulating material to offer a 60% reduction in heat.

Highlights include:

  • Aluminum layer reflects heat from the exhaust.
  • Insulating material keeps heat away.
  • Completely hidden when installed
  • Simple installation
  • No smoke or odor.

These Heat Shield Liners (# 901077) are available now for stock and popular aftermarket headpipes. For more information about these or any of DEI’s powersports line of performance heat and sound control products, visit www.deipowersports.com.
